The short list

Where to eat,
start to finish

Every resort on the Strip is a small food city, and the promenades between them add another layer: The Park, the LINQ, and the shopping galleries full of casual counters.

The three Strip strategies

For occasions: book the destination rooms weeks ahead, fountain views if possible. For the middle: the promenades and resort food halls deliver without reservations. For the rest: the legendary quick bites, from Eggslut breakfasts to Secret Pizza nights.

The value rule of the Strip: lunch at the famous rooms is routinely half the dinner price, and the rooms are often more relaxed.

Getting around while full

The Strip is walkable but long; the free tram lines connect Mandalay Bay to Excalibur and Bellagio to the Mirage. For patrons, resort parking is widely free, which makes a two-restaurant night practical.

Uber and Lyft surge hard after shows, so plan the exit like you planned the meal.

Moving to Las Vegas? The food is part of the decision.

When clients relocate, the dining scene is one of the best ways to feel out a neighborhood. I can point you to the restaurants that make each corner of the valley home.
